Oman Club was founded in 1942 and is the first football club established in Oman, and oldest surviving. It is based in Muscat. The team has had a history of bouncing around both the national stadium, Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, and the Royal Oman Police Stadium, also in Muscat. Oman Club also have their own facilities and a stadium, which has a capacity of 5,000.
