His eldest son was the war poetEdward Wyndham Tennant while his fourth son wasStephen Tennant . Lord Glenconner was succeeded by his second son, the second Baron. He was the father of the authorEmma Tennant . As of 2007 the titles are held by the second Baron's eldest son, the third Baron, who succeeded in 1983.
